I sent off my donation check to Crittenton Children’s Center today. I hope they use it to purchase art supplies for the kids to use while they are going through therapy. Art is a great stress reliever for me and helps me express myself.
My donation equaled 10% of my total sales for my show at Cafe Trio, “Good Day, Sunshine.”
I am sad that my show at Cafe Trio is coming to an end this Saturday. It’s been such a great experience to work with all of the staff - truely a privlidge! And it’s ending on a positive note. Trio has decided to purchase Planetary as their donation for the KC Originals’ Urban Picnic!
I am preparing to transition “Good Day, Sunshine” for my Lawrence debut at Kimbari Tribal Arts, 822 Massachuettes St. The show will be part of Lawrence’s Gallery Walk next Friday, April 27 from 7-9 pm. Seven other galleries will join Kimbari featuring special exhibits by various artists in the region.
I finally figured out how to post the video – too bad I lost a portion of the audio in the process! Enjoy these clips, then go see the show in person! My artwork hangs at Cafe Trio (located at 3535 Broadway) until April 21.

Tomorrow I’m meeting James Foley, a reporter for a newspaper in Independence called The Examiner, at Cafe Trio. He’s planning to write an article about me and my artwork that will be published in The X, a monthly entertainment magazine.
I’m sure that Brandon and I will stay to eat afterwards . . . the food is great!
I’ve added a couple of photos from the evening in a new gallery called Cafe Trio Show. I have also edited a short series of video clips, but have not figured out how to post it on my site . . . give me another couple of days.
