Brandon and I will be hitting the open house circuit again this weekend, looking at a couple of other houses that have been on our list. We’re really excited about one on Collins. We’ve probably driven by it a dozen times.

We don’t know much about the house other than they are selling it “as is” and it’s in our price range. The place has many positives from what we’ve been able to see/read: new roof & windows, and a strong plumbing/electrical/air systems. It’s in a great location and across from a beautiful park. But they say the interior needs updating.

Brandon and I have done lots of updating to our current house, so that’s not a deal breaker. But it’s got to have a lot of potential to make all of that hard work worthwhile . . .
