My First Maternity Outfit

Off to work on my first day in maternity clothes.Almost 4 months pregnant and officially wearing maternity clothes! I got this outfit at the mall, unfortunately it was pretty much the only one I could find. Apparently, the people making maternity clothes don’t realize tall girls also get pregnant.

Our next doctor’s appointment in a week. We hope to find out if LBS is a boy or a girl.

Great Grandma Siver came up from Texas to visit and brought us a baby heart monitor. The monitor’s got a digital recorder, so Brandon’s already planning the baby’s first podcast … check back soon! Thanks Great Grandma Siver!

  1. tallgirlshop.com has maternity. They are located in St. Louis, but you can order online. 36″ or 37″ inseam on everything. They don’t have a lot, but you can at least pick up a pair of pants or two and then get tops at a regular store. Warning… they are expensive. You look so cute though. I am so excited for you guys to find out the sex of LBS.

  2. Hi Alissa

I work for a company called Long Tall Sally (www.longtallsally.com), and we specialise in clothing for tall women. We don’t have a huge maternity range but we are looking to expand.

At the moment we stock maternity jeans up to a 36″ leg.

Many of our tops are designed with an empire line making them a perfect option for expecting mums:

We also have a range of knits that would accommodate a baby bump and look great with jeans:

    I hope this helps!
