Four days after Brandon and I scrambled to get an offer in on that house, and we still haven’t heard anything! We knew the lawyer was going to be out of town until Thursday (today), but we had expected to hear something today. I guess there was some delay due to the bad weather that’s hit the region lately… what can you do?

The weather really has been bad lately. Last night we were up late with a tornado watch, and there was another one again today right after I got home from work. I think the tornado siren has gone off at least a half-dozen times in less than 24 hours. Luckily no tornadoes have hit Topeka yet – but the same can’t be said for Manhattan, Chapman & Soldier who’ve received the brunt of yesterday’s blow. My heart goes out to all of those affected by storms.
