And We’re Out

By the time we fall asleep tonight we’ll be completely out of our Eveningside house. There will probably still be a trailer sitting in the driveway, and some stuff in the shed (we’re running out places to stick things) … but the house will be completely empty and clean.

It’s a bittersweet moment. I’m excited to move onto to the new house and start our family there. And I’m excited that a new family is moving in here. But I’m also sad. This was my & Brandon’s first place … I can still remember the joy of walking into our own house for the first time a little over 4 years ago … despite the 70’s yellow and green kitchen.

We’ve put a lot of work into this place – remodeling the majority of the house, building the shed and adding the carport. And have done a lot of work in this place – we’ve both graduated from school, I started working at jhP and started my art business, and Brandon’s started his internet marketing company and a successful web forum that he built from scratch.
